Running costs are less than oil or lpg and a pellet stove warms the room much quicker as it is fan assisted. Each stove has a control panel with time clock and temperature control plus a remote control to operate from the comfort of your armchair. Carbon neutral owing to its clean burn of compressed sawdust.
Pellet stoves and boilers require an insulated flue that should terminate above roof level, a fresh air supply pipe of 50mm is fitted to the rear of the stove and can be taken through the wall to outdoors or left to use the room air.
The output ranges from 4.9kW to 7kW and has five fan speeds and digital temperature setting and time clock, electronic ignition is fitted so there is no manual fire lighting.
